Xmas Food on a Budget

Its a very hard thing to achieve…Xmas food on a tight budget. The best advice I can give is to keep the food simple and plan your menu ahead of time.

– look at ways to jazz up family favorite recipes so that they are made that bit more special but without a huge amount of extra cost.
– If you’re having a large get together, ask everyone to bring a plate to share the cost.
– Keep meat simple and look at ways to incorporate a few different options with the sides and desserts – meat is the most expensive part of the meal.
