Instructions
Cake Method
Preheat the oven to 160°C
Place all of the dry ingredients into a large bowl and combine
In a separate bowl add in all of the wet ingredients and whisk together
Add the wet ingredients into the dry and beat for 2 minutes until everything is combined
Pour the mixture into a lined 22cm cake tin and bake in the oven for 1 hour
Once cooked, allow to cool for 10mins before removing from the tin, then cool completely on a wire rack before icing with the chocolate ganache
Chocolate Ganache
In a saucepan, add the cream, butter and chocolate
Melt over a low heat until combined
Allow to cool in the fridge for 10 minutes before spreading on to the cake
Store the cake in an air tight container
