Here’s our secret to cooking perfect roast potatoes every time!!!
Yip, its that simple, swap out the oil that you are currently using for coconut oil and you will have perfect, crispy roast potatoes.
You only need 2-3 teaspoons of coconut oil to crisp up a tray of potatoes, it doesn’t have a strong flavor so they don’t end up just tasting like oil and having a greasy texture.
Our other secret is to start with the temperature down low at 150°C on fan bake so that the center of the potatoes cook through without the outside crisping up too quickly, then for the final 10-15 mins, turn the heat up to 180°C fan bake to brown up and get nice and crispy.
