Ingredients

  • 200 g Bacon
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 Garlic Cloves
  • 8 White Button Mushrooms
  • 2 tsp Chicken Stock Powder
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Dried Parsley
  • 2 tsp Flour
  • 250 ml Cream
  • 250 g Dried Spaghetti Pasta
  • 3 c Frozen Mixed Vegetables
  • Salt/Pepper

Instructions

  • Bring a large saucepan of water to the boil (preparation to cook the spaghetti)
  • Dice the bacon, slice the onion and crush the garlic cloves. Brown in a large frying pan for 6-8 minutes
  • Slice the mushrooms and add to the frying pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes
  • Add the chicken stock powder, onion powder, garlic powder, dried parsley and flour to a small mixing bowl. Add the cream and whisk with a fork to combine. Add to the frying pan and bring to the boil, simmer until the sauce thickens
  • Add the spaghetti pasta to the saucepan of boiling water and simmer for 10-12 minutes. Drain the water once cooked
  • Add the mixed vegetables to a small saucepan of water, bring to the boil and simmer for 6-8 minutes
  • Add the cooked spaghetti pasta to the frying pan and toss to coat in the creamy sauce. Season with salt and pepper
  • Serve
